The United States Postal Service has put out Requests for Proposals to replace its aging fleet of Grumman Long Life Vehicle mail trucks. The USPS has the largest fleet of vehicles in the United States and is long overdue to retire. Mail carriers have driven the Grumman LLVs for over 20 years, ever since they first came off the assembly line in 1987.
