Federal Tax Returns Due on April 15, 2014

With the tax return deadline coming, the United States Postal Service have extended their hours on Tax Day, April 15, 2014 at some Post Offices. To find out if your post office will be open past 6:00 pm, visit the USPS Post Office Locator linked here.

If you will be filing an extension, remember that your due date is October 15, 2014.

From Priority Mail, First Class Mail to Certified Mail services, the United States Post Office has a variety of mailing options to ensure a timely filing. As long as your return is postmarked by April 15t the IRS will consider your return filed on time.
